Project: Museum exhibit
Client: City of Toronto, Museum Services
Description: This exhibit presents the history and architecture of the Stone Magazine at Fort York, Toronto, information about the 1813 explosion of the Grand Magazine during the Battle of York, and the nature of the munitions stored in the building. The main didactic panels are shaped to mimic gunpowder barrels, while the features and artifacts labels have curved tops to echo the building’s barrel-vaulted ceiling.
