Project: Panels
Client: City of Toronto, Museum Services
Description: The panels present the early history of the Lieutenant Governor’s office in the location where Upper Canada’s first Lieutenant Governor, Major-General John Graves Simcoe, actually lived. Normally held at Queen’s park, the 2011 event was held at Fort York to tie in with the City of Toronto’s Bicentennial Commemoration of the War of 1812. The panels proved popular enough that the current Lieutenant Governor of Ontario requested them for his office.
